Day 1 +2

Arrived at Eos Villa Santorini right on the outskirts of Imerovigli, Santorini. This was our home away from home for the week. Sunday morning we got up real early and made our way to a hotel near by that had a yoga studio overlooking the caldera and the best breakfast! We were picked up at 10:30 for our kayaking trip with Santorini Kayaking. This consisted of exploring the southern tip of the island, the red beach, black beach and white beaches before landing at our very own private beach for some snorkeling, lunch and exploring. For dinner, we ate in Oia to watch the epic sunset from Kastros. We definitely had front row seats for nature's best show.

Day 3

Yoga of course to start the day and to get embodied. Monday was our free day, so everyone went out exploring and shopping in Thira and Oia. For dinner that night we all gathered at Selene Restaurant which is well known for its great cooking classes. We got to work with Georgia and learn how to cook traditional cuisine. We also got to learn so much about the history of the island and its agricultural production.

Day 4

We followed another George around the vineyards and got to use our senses to enjoy Santorini wine. It was fun learning how to pair specific foods that would enhance the flavors of each wine. 14 glasses later and we actually all felt great! Later in the evening we had a low key dinner at our villa with the best chef and lady boss, Nitsa! We also had two local musicians over and Nitsa showed us a few Greek dance moves!

Day 5

Today was a free day and it was great to see everyone take advantage of having some time for themselves. Some of us went shopping, some of the ladies had a private photo shoot with our photographer Anna, and a few others stayed back at the villa hung out, read, and relaxed. Later that evening we went to Rocabella for another epic Santorini sunset and cocktails. Dinner this evening was at Anogi, an amazing family run Greek style restaurant right in Imerovigli.

Day 5

We hiked from Imerovigli to Oia and stopped at Ammoudi Bay Fish Tavern for an awesome seaside lunch. The total hike was just over 6 miles and took us about 2.5 hours from start to finish. It was the most gorgeous day to walk and there were plenty of other people on the trail with us. Dinner was in Pyrgos at a restaurant called Metaxi Mas, known for its authentic Greek cuisine and cool vibes.

Day 6

Our final day was a special one. We began the morning hiking from our villa in Imerovigli to Skaros rock that has a pretty cool history. It took us about 45 minutes to walk along the narrow path to find this magical chapel we would practice in front of. We finished the retreat with a powerful 108 sun salutation practice to connect and revitalize. As we usually find unique places to do our final yoga class, this spot definitely is ranked high up on our favorite places in the world to do yoga. Later on this evening we cruised with Captain Ted around the island and sailed into the sunset.
